HOOVER CONVERTIBLE MODEL 1053 - ORANGE

Anyone ever seen this model before? Ive done searches on here and haven't found anything.. im assuming it might be a "BOL" convertible since it has the snap bag and half bumper.. this thing looks mint from what i can see on ebay. I recently bought it.. and prolly paid a REDICULOUS amt for it.. but i just couldn't pass on it.. especially on the condition and rarity of it.. any info that anyone has would be helpful.. Thanks!!

this is actually a U4053 and it came in a few colors. I saw one in red and I have seem one in blue

I have one, too.

It runs fine.  I believe it IS a BOL.  But, still...................................it's a HOOVER.
