Here's my low level Concept One, the Commercial model is really sharp.

Yes, I'm sure that Concept 1 commercial is indeed a rarity. Thanks for posting. Was there ever a commercial version of its predecessor, the Dial-A-Matic?

Commercial Concept

Thanks for all the nice words... Its one of the rarer cleaners I have, and one I had to almost totally reconstruct when I got it because it was pretty well trashed. Luckily the cord and bag and outside were ok, but the motor, tranny and agitator were ruined.
I rebuilt it using the Elite style brush roll and bottom plate, and probably used 2 other machines for internal parts. Today it runs quite nice, but the drive is kinda sluggish, probably from the worn clutch pivot.
Maybe I'll do a YOUTUBE video of it...

I noticed the bag is slightly different from the normal Hoover Concepts. Does it still use style "A" bags?
