Hoover concept U3105

Yesterday I went to the flea market and I found a Hoover concept U3105 in nice condition and works great!....I got a few questions.....what year was the U3105 introduced? The serial number on this machine is 00121418 is it earlier or a later model?

I have reason to believe that the bag is not the original but a genuine Hoover replacement bag. This machine was made I think in the early to mid eighties. I have one in like mint condition and the bag is a varigated green strip-ish pattern. I have it stored at my parent's house in the attic (which used to be my playground-one of Madonna's songs and one of my favorite--and the attic is still my other playground, too!)

That is a replacment bag. I also have one with the original vinyl green stripped bag. I too think it was early mid eighties. At least before the wonderful year of 85 I think.

I think this machine also had a matching non power drive miodel to go with it with the contour handel grip.
