For bearings do you mean motor bearings? Also, the brushroll can normally be found if you call a vac shop and ask if they can pick one out of their boneyard. Thats where I got mine from. Normally the brush strips arent in bad shape. As for the cord reel, there is a mini brake pad on the inside of the reel case. Normally over time the glue on the pad decays and it comes off. I have replaced this before with a piece of dense felt. If you remove the outer bag (by disconnecting the plastic plate that holds it on) you should be able to gain access to the brake assembly on the other end of the cord button that you depress to let it back in.
