hoover compact super

hi guys i was looking in a charity/thrift shop today and there was a hoover turbopower, dyson dc07, panasonic vacuum, vax canister, panasonic canister and a dirt devil handy. but on one shelf i came across this, a Hoover compact super for £10, and i was interested so i got it. it came with a hose, crevice tool, brush and an upholstery tool. but it had a powerhead socket so i used the wand/PN off my filterqueen and connected some wire to the vac socket and the FQ wand. here it is:

I didn't think the compact super had variable power, I thought that was the electronic model
