There is one at the local DAV for 5.99 but it doesn't have the floor nozzle. I am not sure how rare or impossible it would be to find a floor nozzle. It also seems to be in good condition.

Thanks,
Ryan

Grab it! I'm sure those are rare. Maybe the Hoover experts can shed some light on this. When you say floor nozzle do you mean the bare floor brush or the power nozzle?

The bare floor brush can easily be found. I have several of them myself. Good Luck!

Our webmaster (Fred Stachnik)has one. He posted some pictures of his a couple of years ago. Does it have the long tufflex hose?

Very interesting find.

Yeah I would want to get the bare floor tool. It does have the trufflex hose. I would be happy to find a picture though this is the canister not the upright so i think it might be even better than just the upright

Yep. I 2nd Kenny's remark - that's a rare bird indeed, and the bare floor tool is a sort of generic that could be found. Grab it!!

Very nice and rare. There was also one with no cordwinder, longer standard hose, and strap on cord for power nozzle.I think all small tools would have been red.

true

The one you are referring to is the commercial one that Fred posted a picture about quite sometime ago. I really am excited to this as my first find, but sadly it came without the power nozzle that i have to find... which maybe even harder.. finding it separate.
