Hi all

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, but I've been crazy busy here in Dallas.

Anyway, this last Monday I was searching around on Craigslist. I usually type in vacuum or a few misspellings to see what I can find. On a fluke I searched "hoover" and just about crapped when I saw what came up. Now I have a nice collection and I really can't think of any machines that I REALLY, REALLY covet. Except this. I never thought I would find one, and if I did I thought it would be beat to hell like most Celebrities I find.

I drove out to the owners house. He was a very nice man, and in broken english he told me that it was given to him by his wife's employer. Evidently this lady had a big house in Highland Park (wealthy, old money area of Dallas) which had a central vac so she never really used it. She gave it to this couple and since it was a little too big for their house it just sat there and they decided to sell it. It was on Craigslist for two weeks before I found it probably because it was listed as "Hoover Vacume".

It's in absolute gorgeous condition. The hose has no cracks, all the attachments are there, and there is literally NO DIRT inside of the powerhead.

More pics to follow

Congratulations...
I picked up the same model, mint condition on E-Bay last month...I love this vacuum. I'm on the hunt now for a TOL Spirit...

Enjoy and Happy Hoovering... :)

Nice Find

I love my celebrity as well. They are very space age looking. Yours looks to be in great condition. The electronic power head looks like it will be fun to use.
