If anyone knows where I can find a new hoover c1404 please let me know, I'm aware they were discontinued but hoping someone might know where I can find one.

Thanks for the link,unfortunately I had seen that already and it's for the the base model one with auto height adjust. I'm looking for the one with the four position.

Did you try the HOOVER website?

I was at the factory on the day the LAST one rolled off the line. They still should have some in stock. I know people "stocked up" on them, knowing that there was a finite number of them.

It offers the option for Black or Yellow. I think this refers to the power cord and "Yellow" means orange.
The description says four position bla bla bla...so you are good to go. Can't vouch for this store though, never saw it before.
PS: For those interested, the basic commercial Bagged Sanitaire (grey hood red base) is the same price at this store btw, best i've seen.

I just got off the phone with the guy trying to find out what model they have exactly since they so the non height adjust model but description says it's the height adjust. As far as the cord option I don't know where they got that from, to my knowledge there was never an option it was always just orange. I have to call back in a few hours when his boss is in to find out what model exactly.

Grr so frustrating people need to update their websites if they don't carry the machine lol.

Lol, ya think. Plus it put some Americans out of a job that worked at that factory. I bought one on eBay the other day that said it was a store demo, Still I want a new in box one lol. Hopefully my persistence will pay off.
