BTW,, the Perivale station itself is somewhat architecurally interesting as well with that curving glass and canopy. Any idea when it was built. I'd guess 40's -50.

Perivale Station

In fact opened in 1947. I would have thought it was older (many of the later underground stations are design icons of the 1920s & 30s) but I imagine that it was designed in the 1930s and just not built till after WW2 as the style is much more 1930s than 40s. It should be remembered that, when it was built the Hoover Perivale factory was considered to be out in the country. Early UK instruction books show the factory completely surronded by fields. Not like that now as it was swallowed up by suburban growth, mainly in the 1930s although it still stands out as a beacon on the A40 - a major western traffic artery of London

Interesting bit of history there on the station. And seeing that route map right by Ruislip... my aunt and uncle lived in Ruislip. I visited them a couple of times waaaay back in 67 and 72 so I must have passed thru there a few times unbeknownst.
