I have seen some threads about Hoover bags and HandiSacs. I bought some Hoover Style J Bags for my Portable Machines wanting to get "Genuine" bags. When I got home and opened the package up I found it to be the exact same bag that is made by DVC. I went to Hoover’s website and started looking at the bag section. If you click on the bag type it shows a picture of the bag. I can’t remember all the types but the “Genuine Hoover” style C, J and H. bags are really made by DVC now. You also will notice that there is no Hoover Logos on them. I still have Genuine bags for my Hoover Celebrity but I wonder if the DVC bags with the cardboard mount stay on as tight as the plastic ones did from Hoover. I know that the plastic mount can be a bear to install sometimes.

I know that DVC had been making Electrolux Style C bags for many years now for Electrolux but didn’t know that Hoover had started changing over too.

I noticed this a couple years ago when I got some J bags. I was kind of ticked to pay $5 for genuine bags that were really $1 home care duplicates.
I think that the A bags from TTI are now white instead of green. Oh the humanity!

A Bags and Home Care

I think that Hoover offers the Allegern bags and the green bags in Style A. I have a Windtunnel that uses Type Y Allergen Bags of cloth Hepa bags. The paper allergen ones are white and I have seen both Type A in Allergen (White) and green.
HomeCare I think contracts out for their bags because I have seen DVC bags and cheap single layers bags in the packs made by HomeCare. I know the the DVC and Lux C bags are the same things as the Aerus bags and have been for years. I guess that DVC makes a good product if they are making them for OEM labels on older machines.
