I remember sometime in the early 2000's there was this bagless Hoover that i think was called the Hoover Bagless. It came in green and purple. It looked so cool but I never got one. Does anyone have one of these machines? It had the Hoover Twin-Chamber cup.

I just had one!

I just go rid of last trash night. They are easy to come by, though I never found them in purple, I've found them in green, red, and blue. I'll let you know if I find any. Just to be sure is this the one your talking about?

Very good performer according to Consumer Reports over the y

Ever since this bagless Windtunnel made its debut, CR has rated it one of the top bagless machines. I am sure that the filter is not the easiest to clean, and may need replacement sooner than others, but as far as carpet cleaning is concerned, it ranked as high as some of the other bagged WindTunnels.

They are always available in Canada at our Canadian Tire chain of stores, and the price has come down over the years (CAD250.00). It is probably the best upright being sold at the chain right now....see link below:

Actually, this vacuum wasn't a WindTunnel... it was Hoovers first bagless (if you don't count the commercial Convertibles and Elites with the dirt cup)... when they made this, there were Windtunnels, but they were only bagged. The bagless WindTunnels that followed used the same awful tower filter in their dirt chambers. It clogged fast and was a disaster to empty. I've heard that this vacuum had a separate fan to cool the motor, but I don't know if it's true. I've never liked them though... I though the hose was too small and they were loud and the dirt system was terrible. Hope you find one... we all want the machines we want for certain reasons even if they may not appeal to others, good luck :o) Hope you get a purple one.... it looks better than the green I think!

I had a nice red one that I found at the dump, however it was a great deep cleaner but seemed to leak more than ever, this is usually caused by the gasket on the lid of the chamber, since these are a fan first machine they tend to blow more out than keep in the bin. I do miss it though
