Hoover Bag Question

Can Hoover Type "Y" bags be substituted for Type "A" bags?

Yep, just be careful of the bag getting to heavy! A, Y & Z all take the same collar!

You can use a HEPA bag that way.

Bill, if you want to substitute a Hoover Type Y bag for a Type A bag if you want a HEPA bag, you don't have to. Hoover does make a Type A HEPA filtration bag, it's right on their website. Now only thing is, I don't think there is many generic versions though.
