the volt

The volt works really well here as well. I tend to use it with my straight suction canisters to clean my area rugs, if I'm using a central vacuum I will usually hook up one of my electric power nozzles, I think I have all of the major ones, but feel free to check out my profile and let me know if I am missing any. The design of the volt nozzle is ingenious, although it isn't the first tandom air power nozzle, I think air-way had that on one of their models.

A note on using the Kirby with a canister vacuum-you will need to put tape over the swivel hose that goes on the discharge outlet on the Kirby-the swivel on that hose end is NOT dust tight. When I went by one of my HID lights-could see the dust!!!Tape cured that-but that end of the hose no longer swivels.Doesn't matter for that use.I did another funky thing-connected one Kirby as an upright into another made up as a canister!Made me think of the Sci-Fi horror movie "Centipede" where a mad scientist connected people mouth to butt! Was a GROSS but funky movie!
