Has anyone ever used a 25 watt bulb in a Hoover model 800, I have that motor and want to know if anyone ever had problems.

No but I would not try that ! The original lamp should be 15w ( even if I only find the 10 watts today ). Higher wattage will probably overheat the plastic trim around the dirtfinder causing deformation and might cause other damage. I know that a short-time use won't probably cause any harm, but....why risk it ?
