Hoover 700 belts

Hi.

i wonder if any American collectors can help me?? i would like to know if anyone knows where i can find a hoover 700 belt(s)??

If anyone knows of a shop that might still have a few of these could you give me the shop name and number??

What I use...

I've used both 912/612 belts and Electrolux C12 ones... I believe the originals were slightly thinner but you have zero chance of finding those now- even if you did i'm sure the rubber would have perished by now.

hi seamus.

i am using a 912 belt at the moment. for nostalgic reasons it would be nice to have an original even if hard to find. a member of hooverland sold me a 700 belt back in 06 and was a nos belt that was in great shape. it fit easily over belt pulley. the 912 you have to stretch a little without catching your fingers. after it stretches a bit from use then it will be fine. just hope it lasts once stretched a bit. i hope to have a thread for my 700 soon.
