I got this in the same joblot as the vortex and the Turboboost but due to work have never really had the time or energy to do anything with it, anyway here it is, it needs a lot of work doing to it but Im sure I will be able to do something with it.

Nice work so far

I must say you have more patience then I think I have. I have a Rexair/Rainbow D the motor sounds fine but when I looked up inside I can see lots of caked on dirt. I'm just to afraid of taking her apart and not knowing what to do with parts and should I make it throug that I'm terrified I'll put her back together wrong. So bravo on your Hoover. I'm looking forward to the final product!!

Don't be afraid to take it apart. Take lots of before pics. Make reference marks if you need to. 


number the parts if a fan assembly, etc.


Bag all the parts & pieces, put notes in the bags.


Careful preparation & patience will ensure it goes back together properly.
