I'll hang onto my Hoover 28-didn't realize they were so valueable.Good vacuums-but $177? EROOK hits again.I don't understand-you could hunt for these cheaper at swap shops, local vacuums stores, etc.

It just depends on who see's it

I have notice with several vintage vacuum cleaners it all depends on who see's it. like for instance the bugeye that Chuck sold for Bernie on ebay got 888.00 winning bid then barely a month later Stan Kahn's only got 400 something for it.So it just a matter of who see's it. I think and of course also if it is listed in the right catagorty too. I won my Kenmore bugeye back in 2003 for only 68.00 but It was listed in living room furniture so what collector would think to look there, but again my bugeye had to be totally restored as it was painted solid white all over and didn't have the cord with it at all, But I did a very fine job of restoring it to be near mint condition.
