Been waiting for ever to see these two new Shark Models!

Thank you so much for sharing :) Can not wait to see theses machine hit the Canadian Market! I bet they will give Dyson a run for his money lol! I own the first generation Rotator & I love it but with the improvements on the both the new upright & canister WOW cleaning will be so much easier & faster than ever with these two! I have admit Shark have improved their vacuums so much over the last 5 years it will be hard to decide on which one to buy the upright or canister???? Glad to see that they are trying hard to beat Dyson it is about time that another vacuum company is trying to ;)

What can't out-clean a DC65?

What can't out clean a dc65?

I know that there is lots, but this has just trashed James' comments as it no longer has 2x the suction (Waterlift test) and can out clean his machine... boo hoo poor James, what will he ever do? Here in Aus the shark rates better on choice (consumer mag), beat Dyson for in RD coming number 1, and has 3 years longer warranty.

Lol, I'm sure there's already plenty of machines out there that can out-do a Dyson at suction!

I haven't heard much about shark, plenty of good from them! Besides the Indian call center and the $60 replacement head, they're good vacuums for the price!

Oh yeah lets all make assumptions even though none of us have these vacuums yet ! :O

DC65 has the most amount of suction at the cleaner head, that is the difference, and its an important one. I can vouch for that as my dc41 mk2 pulls more dust and fine dirt out of my carpets than any vacuum I have used.

Interesting...

I knew the day would come! But why do the names keep getting longer?

1st Shark Navigator- Shark navigator
Lift Away- The Shark Navigator Lift Away
Rotator- The Shark navigator Rotator Lift Away
New Canister-The Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away

What is it and these names just getting bigger and bigger? All they do is add on a word or two to the same existing names.

Nick...

It's just called the rotator lift away... they have 3 families

Rotator - full size, full power.
Navigator - easy to use, entry level
Rocket - Compact full size units

Oli, you're being fooled! Don't what those words on the box say, unless Dyson has one of every vacuum cleaner model manufactured in history, Dyson can't prove his claim! It's like saying ClorTide has twice the power of any other detergent, dispite that ClorTide has not tested their detergent on every other detergent.

Keep in mind, ALL cyclonic vacuums 'fluff' dirt. This means that the cyclonic action of the cleaner 'enlarges' dust and hair especially. The next time you empty the Dyson, dump it onto a flat surface. If possible, vacuum up the waste with a bagged cleaner. You'll notice that sane volume of dirt just got smaller than it was in the Dyson!

Compare the weight of what the vacuums pick up, not the volume. That is the more accurate measure of a vacuums cleaning ability.
