Hey Guys

Great machines. What model was the yellow Trident?

The Electrolux book I have lists a model U136 (trident) in 1965 - covering Blue-grey horizontal ribbed plastic with handle and end covers in light grey plastic

It also lists models U137 (Challenge) (same as model 64) and U138 (Challenge) (same as model 65)in 1965 both in light grey horizontal ribbed plastic with maroon ends and handle

The Challenge and Trident models must have at least lasted over several years in this case

Hi Doug

Trident model is the U156a made by Electrolux, lovely colour me thinks and very quiet in use, the lady who had it had a white plastic hose and no tools as yet found, so the tools shown are from my Z100 Electrolux, am assuming they would be like Als, but as its a later model not sure....

Hey Mike

Thanks

Interesting that they had a U136, U146 and U156. From the description the U136 and U146 are pretty much the same.

Wonder if there is a U166 waiting to be discovered :)

Mike, thanks for the close-ups of the Luxes. I was never a particular fan of the older ones, until I acquired a few of the Canadian models, and after that I had a new love. Gorgeous styling, and still, after all these years, good enough performers to get the job done.
