Dynamic Duo

With nothingleft to lose, I pour Krud Kutter on the spot and used a pot brush to work it in. I filled the water reservoir with boiling water and the soap dispenser with white vinegar. I brushed the siled areas with pain hot water amf then extracted with the a white vinegar rinse until no more suds appeared in the capture container. I let it dry over night and vacuumed it with the Miele. The spots are gone. Yahoo. I'm packing the carpet cleaner for the trip to Kansas where it's new life will be with my daughter's family. I'll keep my eyes out for another thrift store Hoover V2 carpet cleaner. I have njoyed it.

Super nice-I have one Just exactly like the one shown.Mine cost more than $39!!sadly the Salvation Army place out here closed.Thrift stores-"swap shops" are hard to find out my way.The Dixon's swap shop I deal with has large appliances.Rarely vacuums-I did get an Electrolux LX from him.I like the OLDER Meile powernozzles more so than the new ones. The polished floor shoe on that older one-and the metal brushroll is so much better than todays models.wish Meile would go back to the metal!I use My Meile White Pearl quite a lot too.Use it along with my Kirby Sentrias as a main vacuum.
the lack of swap shops and the lackluster yard sales here make it difficult for appliance hunting.

The older power nozzle.

Part of what caused me to be dismissive with Meile was looking at and hefting the little plastic power nozzle. I have turned on a few at Albert Lee the local Miele dealer and they seemed to float over the carpet. I was very surprised and continue to be amazed at the Miele. The carpert installer who has been working on replacing my carpet under warrantee came they other day and saw the Miele. He is from Serbia and while he's extremely cultured his dialect goes to unintelligble when he's excited. His mother snuck her first Miele into her country 35 years ago. She still has the same vacuum and woe unto anyone who uses without proper respect. Sergy has a Miele and when he saw the heavier rug attachment, he asked me if I would sell the vacuum? I declined. I have learned my lesson. At my age I may not live long enough to find the next "White Pearl" uncovered on the beach of second hand stores.
