Thanks for this Sven!

Vintage Eurekas from the 1970's and 80's seem to suffer from this yellowing.

I much prefer the white attachments of that era (or Panasonic's "dust coloured" grey attachments) to the black attachments that have been in vogue since the mid 1980's. I once noticed that the black dusting brush from my Eureka World Vac canister actually caused "crayon-like" black marks on the ceiling near the top of my drapery rods! :-(

The Retr0project is ongoing. They are the group that figured out that it is the flame retardent in the plastic that is the issue.

The yellowing may reappear, due to age, but on some pieces, it is easy to redo them.

I do go on from time to time, there many people trying different things and reporting results.

A must visit if you want the plastic to look newer.

I had to replace the switch in a Concept one for my Mother-in-law a few years ago. The terminals were broken off so I got a generic slider switch at Ace hardware and soldered it in. It looked the same from the outside and worked great. I should have thought to take pictures...
Good finds, I'm sure you will enjoy them.

The blue Eureka brings back so many childhood memories. My Mom had the low end gold 70s powerteam model 1260 and I remember the day it burnt up she went straight to the store in 1989 and bought the navy blue. I still have it in my collection.
I have also seen the same model before without a cord winder and no headlight.
I also have a matching princess power team

It sounds like you have a plethora of terrific Eureka Power teams!! Is the matching Princess series the canned ham style housing by chance? Not sure if you have posted pics of your collection in different posts but if you happen to know the threads I'd love to see them! Thanks for sharing.
