well, since no one has been in my home during the holidays, not a ton of baking was done. I just made a few banana nut breads, and some Italian pepper cookies. I brought some to my friend who works at Williams Sonoma. She loved them, as did the rest of the staff.
Now. some friends want to come here and bake things.
So, out will come: a Kitchenaid stand mixer, an old Dormeyer stand mixer, (found a 2nd one in the basement), and a Sunbeam Mixmaster Vista.
Next week, it will be like the family bakery was years ago.
It will smell wonderful, no doubt.
Working on getting my digital camera to work w/ the computer again.
Pics... coming soon.

"Look but don't touch"

hm heard that before.
I made a batch, 5 doz pepper cookies the other day. I'll do that again very soon.
My friend, former "Sister Nancy, devours them. Sister Elizabeth wants to bake here in a very well-equipped kitchen. It'll be interesting to get a 'home economics teacher's' opinion on this kitchen.
Sounds like an old joke: A nun, ex nun, almost priest walk into a kitchen.........
Stay tuned.
