Wait a minute....
This is making me really M-A-D. (grrrrrr)
I WAS the first kid who liked vacuums! (Haa-rumph)
Fred is 15 years younger than me and grew up about 20 miles from me. I just know that some time in the 1980s, when I wasn't home, Fred's mom drove Fred down Capitol Dr. (after stopping at Bayshore Mall Sears store to look at the vacuum dept.) to my house and stole, YES I said STOLE, my Vacuum Moxy. He took it !
And Why? Is it just because "he's cute"? Is it because he knew what certain vacuums sounded like at a disturbingly young age? Is it because he knew the names of different vacuum models ?
No. It's because Fred wanted all the fame and glory that goes along with being a vacuum collector. He knew I had it and just helped himself to it !
..... and now I find out there are other similar characters who've tried to steal the spot light. Plus a whole "junior" section, Fred set up, where young vacuum collector wanna-bes congregate to plan their vacuum Utopia.
I don't like you Fred. You're shifty one.
