This is the Electrolux Model S -- quite rare as it was made for a very short time, not even a year I don't think, because it was very soon replaced by the Model R.

This one is not in =perfect= condition but it's pretty nice, and given its rarity I would have bid on it (even tho I have two already haha!) had I know it wasn't going to do any more than this.

That's not the original hose but is actually earlier - it appears to be a model LX woven cloth hose and, if it is, it's in darn good shape!

Yet another eBay puzzler.......

ebay is probably reacting to this economy

That kills me because the one I got from ebay cost me over 300 dollars( I don't know what I was thinking). That one was in MINT condition with all its original attachments plus the S hose (which is beautiful). It looks like one of your AF's. Wish I could find an AE like that.

Model s

It seems to me that there has been many more model S's than R's on ebay in recent months.
I'm not an eagle eye expert, but I was able to get a model S (rebuilt not original) for under $40 including shiping. When an R does show up they seem to go for much more money.
Just my two cents.
