Here it is, my heavily abused Dyson DC07 All Floors(USA edition)

Honestly in better shape than I expected. Be careful the plastic is very brittle on these machines now and can snap easily.

Too bad they don't sell a regular upright like this anymore. They were very good machines.

Also I'd take a peek at the motor. If they filter disintegrated and they were still using the vacuum....

In contrast, that V16 is a tragic machine and currently badly need a specific mod. You have had no choice but to mod it, and @Vacuum Facts needed to show us the mod first, albeit as myth-buster while his full review is pending for the 2026 release, after all the mostly reckless reviewers have done their job.

Seriously, those uprights were of the days Dyson's service were worthy of good awards. Too bad customer support have severely decayed at best since then.

I have been known to fashion patches out of material cut from plastic food containers and reinforce cracks like those from behind by stop drilling the end(s) of the crack then epoxying the patch across the crack from behind. Sometimes I have to pull the crack tight with tape while the epoxy dries but I have saved more than one vintage machine this way. It ends up looking better than plastic welding. Sometimes when there are no parts it is the only way to save an otherwise functional machine.

Yeah, I took a look. I had to clean out a huge ammount of "filter fluff" but it runs like normal.

You're right. I picked it up by the handle like an idiot and a loud snap was heard. then my cat knocked it over today and a chunk of plastic came off
