I had never heard of Oasis before then I found their last model from 2001 so then I did research on the company and found they went bancrupt right after they started. Oasis is based out of Neosho close to St. Louis. They started in 1997 and here is (far as I know) their first model.
I didn't much care for the newer Oasis I bought. It had only a single fan motor that pulled about what a lux model G pulls on the suction maybe less and is lightweight so it can tip but this original model is one big honkin mother. I can barley lift it, its hard to pull around and it bigger and heavier than the Thermax af1 but it has one of the most powerful motors I have seen in a water filtered vacuum with it big dual fan motor made by gs electric. This thing (dated 1997) puller 80 on suction meter and it does a pretty good job.
Two things I like best about it are, the hose is a swivel hose and you can set the machine in the center of room and clean all around like a ge reach easy, the other thing I like is the clean up, it so easy and quick. I don't however love the power head, it could be better
Erik, I was thinking the same thing that the power nozzle looks like a Singer nozzle. I remember the plastic Singer canister in Wal Mart in the 80's had that same PN.
