Singer/Kenmore

Got any late '70s Twin Fan models knocking around in your storage facility? If so, I'd love to see some pictures of 'em.

Thanks.

Wow!!!!

Chris! What a collection! I have both Singers, the PowerMaster canister and the Porch n'Patio! I LOVE the PowerMaster upright!!!

Funny story about the red Sanyos. My Aunt once bought a Kirby Classic 3 in the 70's and my Uncle hit the roof when he found out she paid $600.00 for it. He made her return it and made the Kirby Co. return the Electrolux R that she had originally traded in with the Kirby purchase. He then goes out and buys three of the red Sanyo vacuums. One for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. The third was used in a restaurant they owned at the time. I liked using them but of course they were not an appropriate choice to clean plush wall to wall carpeting. My Aunt called them pieces of S**t and refused to use them so my cousins did the vacuuming. They didn't last long but I don't know what replaced them. I know my Aunt later had a Hoover Convertible ( which she loved ) and also divorced my Uncle but for other reasons than the Sanyo episode LOL!

Thanks for posting your collection!! I love it !!!!

Great collection! (Logan, did you notice the beautiful Electrolux model S?!)

Do you realize that your two Electrolux XXXs are very early - one of them possibly the original 1937 model! See link to date these two machines.

I see you also have an Electrolux E - my favorite!!

Yep, Charlie I saw the Model S. That is a perfect example of one!

One of my favorites is the white Eureka canister in the 3rd picture down sitting on top of the Kirby. I think that is an Ironside. I really like those vacuums.

Very nice collection...

Lots of stuff! Quite the variety, too!

Love the houndstooth bag on the Singer... that's wild!

And I'm envious of your 1170 Hoover Dial A Matic! I would LoVe to find one of those. Does yours have the smooth power drive wheels?

Keep the pictures coming!

Chris...

Wow! You have some great machines there. I love the variety. I have to say my favorite is the Hoover Convertible Special model 33 in the first photo. I had to study all of the photos to see what might be hiding! Thanks for going to all of this trouble and posting your collection. I hope that you will bring some of these to the North Canton convention this August.

Hey Chris! What a collection!! I'd like to see a better pic of the pinkish-tan colored GE Swivel-Top in pic 4. I've never seen one that color, and,as you'll see when I post pics of my collection soon, I have lots of them. Also, love the Sani-Way! Later, Trg

kyle

look at thred # 2871 ther is some pics of my housekeeper.

ge1969 I will try to pull them out soon to take some pics. the one is light brown.

Fred S. the hoover 1170 does have smooth wheels. I rebilt it a few years ago it is like new. I would like to find some of the early ribed wheels to replace them because it dont drive good at all, ther is two types of rided wheels thin and thick. the thick ones are still made but the thin are N.L.A. Is far as I know the late 1170 and 1176 models onely used the thin rided wheels. I do have one more 1170 but is is in sad shape.

Chris

P.s. look at thred #2852 I have two N.I.B. eureka brooms.
