Hi all.

Just thought I would share this with you.

I have wanted this model for ages.

First restyle of junior range since 1950.

This scheme is white & rose. Bag can be rare nowadays. Takes paper bags inside. First junior model to have this feature.

A few colour changes made till another restyle in mid 60s.

This model 1958-1962. 62 saw a new colour scheme of white & gray. 1334 A.

Very nice unit.  It screams It looks almost new, straight from the era of Rockers and Mods!  It's cool that you have the box and owners manual.  How much work have you had to do to it?

Hello Gvox,

I literally just did a few light touch ups on lower handle and on front sides where there was a small amount of paint loss. I had a paint specially made. I took the crevice tool to the paint shop and they put it through a scanner and came up with a 98% match to original colour.

It is a spray paint. I am unsure if I will do a complete respray as it looks almost perfect as is.

The seller who I got it from had it serviced last year. It was clean, too clean really. Suppressor removed so no risk of going BANG! Seeing the state a lot of these vacs are in when I see pics and online videos makes me glad mine came to me almost perfect. I was also surprised it sold for what it did. I was sure it would sell for well over £500 as these are very sought after. There were loads of watchers on this sale.

I had one of these about 15 years ago. I went with Aunt Susan to buy it. I took it to her house and left it there so she could try it out. I went back the next week and found out one of her lodgers moved out and took it with them along with most of her things. I am so glad I live alone sometimes.

For years I would see pics of other examples in collections. I would look and drool like a St Bernard wishing I could be so lucky.

This is the only example that I have ever seen in this condition since then. I have no intentions of ever letting this one go. It lives in my 1950s style kitchen surrounded by loads of vintage appliances and looks the part.

The manual came from a seller on Facebook marketplace. Perfect condition!

I had taken shots of the motor to see if suppressor was still present. After seeing videos I could tell it was removed already.

I was happy it was very clean.

Hello..

Hope you are ok these days?

A complete and original 1334 in good overall condition is a rare beast not to mention the carton!!

I actually remember how owners in the 1960s with service contracts had the original bags replaced with 1334A zipped types.

I have two nice 1334a's fitted with genuine hoover motor spares; the 1330 range run smoothly when maintained properly....they just sang beautifully.

Enjoy, Walter, SHROPSHIRE, WESTB MIDS.

Hoover

Great and complete(even the blower adapter)Hoover. Can we see more of manual?
Very simply I also wish you,and your Hoover, were here.It would be nice to have someone continue the vac store as the book store takes most of my time.As well as someone who cares doing the above quality of restoration on my older vacs.

Hi Jim.

I will get photos up soon. Just waiting to find a good spot with light so they come out good.

I would love to run your shop and keep the local vacs in good repair.
