I know it is a year old, but someone way know him! And he is being mean to old style Henry's! Doesn't that make you mad?

The fact he is ill-treating a pair of vacuum cleaners does not bother me in the slightest. Why would it?

The fact that he could have caused people to lose their lives if a train had been damaged makes me ashamed to share a planet which such a person. Parwaz, are you really more concerned about the cleaners than the wider implications of what he did?

Parwaz OMG, I'm concerned that you said that about the vacuum cleaners! They don't have feelings and won't a know a thing.

More of a concern is the possible accident that could have happened if the machines caused the train to de-rail. That's the main concern here.

I didn't mention that the train could crash, yes but I am concerned for them too you know! And I am actually concerned for the people more than the Henry's, but I posted this and never mentioned this for two reasons, that the police Re trying to locate this sick thug and secondly because its a vacuum we sit,the fact that they are old Henry's is not nice to see, but please be assured I am NOT worried more about the vacuums more than the people but I don't think the train crashed

TBH I didn't care for the vacuums either, And btw Henry's are just plastic so I doubt the train would actually crash TBH? Cars are lighter and I seen videos of people running over vacuums at high speeds with cars, there was no damage to the cars

The statement from the police is what has me shaking my head.

"Police have released an image of a man seen in the area at the time who they are keen to speak to as he may have important information about the incident."

Trains are kind of big and heavy. I think a train would crunch right over them like grit under your shoe. Around here trains hit cars and trucks with some regularity because people are impatient and go around the gates or they stop on the tracks instead of waiting out traffic lights at the gates. The train seldom has more than minor cosmetic damage from these encounters.

What gets me is why did the guy feel he had to do this at a train station? Why not the nearest section of track to his home? He had to know he would be caught on a camera. How does the train ststion figure into this? They weren't rigged to explode (least wise there is no mention of them being so rigged). Weirdness.

That could be another worry-could the "thug" have put a bomb in the vacuums??This could then be a REAL hazard.Yes,a train could run over those without any likely incident.To trains vs cars-to the train hitting a car its like you stepping on an aluminun drink can.The noses of freight locomotives contains concrete and steel weights,battery box(starting)Sandbox(traction from compressed air blowing it in front of the wheels)So if the loco hits a car-for it--its just scratched paint!Car--Totaled along with whomever was in the car!

Dircik, I have an answer to your question. I think it's highly likely this guy was throwing the Henry cleaners on the track to get revenge on a former friend, lover or boss. And they WANTED to be caught, so they went to a place they knew cameras would be around. That way everyone, including their target, knew it was them that destroyed the vacuums.

Or, it could also be that he hated the Henry cleaners, & wanted to make a public statement by being caught on video destroying the cleaners.

I'm pretty confident the dude is a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic but taking revenge on someone by publicly destroying their vacuums? Well, it's creative I guess. Maybe the faces reminded him of someone and it brings him pain? I hope when more is known of the story it will be posted here as a follow up.

Not necessarily true. EVERYTHING has a vibrational frequency -- animal, plant, and mineral. Even rocks and grains of sand. The lower frequency ranges may not have sentience, but they do have memory.

NYCwriter, ever heard of the desert hum? It sounds like there is some huge low rpm diesel engine running somewhere off in the distance, at least that is how it sounds to me. It has to be very quiet to notice it. It kept me up at night my first few years living in the desert. I know others here who had the same problem. Now it doesn't bother me and I sleep soundly (maybe the dogs snoring maskes it, lol).

That looked more like a mercy killing, littering at most. I'm sure the gestapo will get their man and the police state will be satisfied....any and all offended party's will have their pound of flesh! Why, I'm sure Ill-justice will be served, all bearing in mind, when you have real criminals walking about being unmolested. Indeed, we should all feel safer with the keystone cops on the beat. I know I'll feel safer sleeping tonight. I can say with all confidence, any statistician worth his salt would wisely come to the conclusion that the possibility of a train derailment would be in the neighborhood of zero...sheer mass and velocity would be prohibited in this instance. It would be like shooting a peagun at a hundred ton Abrams tank...No impact! In its aftermath, all was required was a broom, and the world goes on.
