Okay I just got done buffing my kirby classic power head with steel wool attached to a drill and some "noxon" so is there any after polish stuff I can put on it? I am not expirenced with metal so, What about Ajax Dish Soap?

Also what can I do to restore the luster to the plastic parts? (bag gaurd, emptor guard, bumper, and the wood on the handle fork)

use mothers polish on the aluminum and use brasso for the emptor......for the other parts just clean them and i recommend using the "magic clean" sponges (thanks Terry) they will get rid of anything, just make sure you wash it off again because the sponge can leave a film. it even works on the bumper (messy but works)

when you polish it.....put the mothers on WITH the steel wool, let it dry and then buff the CRAP out of it!
