I bought 1505 lux for $8.00 and it was working and now it's not working. I put the wiring exactly I took pictures. Can the switch???

Ok, first off you have a 1205 not a 1505. The terminal block in the rear was a poorly thought out design that was only used on 1205 and the Golden Jubilee. Electrolux used to make a retro kit for these models that consisted of wire leads going from the terminal block to cord winder, where there were also retro fit terminals attached. The problem with this machine is that the terminal block and cord winder contacts had a tendency to burn out, which possed a safely/ electrical hazard. What I have found is many of the old 1205 units that have never been serviced or taken apart work just fine until you remove the cord winder. Often the one terminal would warp and the when the cord winder is re-installed it doesn't make contact to the terminal block. My recomendation is to ask around through the forum or even a local Electrolux dealer to see if anyone still has a retro kit in stock. I know they were discontinued a number of years ago, and I have used all the ones I used to have. I actually made it standard practice at my shop to install the retro kit on any 1205 unit I serviced.

Very simple repair, the one terminal on the terminal block has melted the block, you need to lift the terminal back up, I use a 1/8" head of a pop rivet, remove the nail part of the pop river by pushing it back through, now you just have the rivet, take a small awl or punch and gently make the hole between the terminal and the block open so you can push the rivet into the space, bend the contacts out on the cord winder , then reassemble it, remember to be careful with any of the gray plastic on the cordwinder or the block, it is 40 years old and it is starting to get brittle.
