I was just casually vacuuming with my Kirby ultimate G diamond edition when the drive/neutral peddle just fell out of the vacuum and it doesn't look like anything broke it just fell out so could somebody PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Happens all the time. I think I fix about 40 Kirby's a year with that problem. If you're experienced with repairing Kirby vacuum transmissions, it's an easy repair. If not, you'll need the part and torx screwdrivers and a Youtube video, or you'll need a vac shop/service center.
Perfectly normal Kirby stuff.
Order of the replacement part simple enough.
Here's a video on how to change it with a link in the description to the part.
Here's another video discussing why the parts wear out the same as any other machine.
This is so common on the generation Kirbys. I can barely keep the pedals in stock at my store because I would say every 8/10 kirbys that come in for service need the pedals replaced. You have to drop the transmission out and remove the broken piece inside then fit the cam bracket and a new set of pedals together. I can honestly do it in my sleep at this point
