Help me decide: Nilfisk GD930, or Aerus, or something else

I realize often Miele and Sebo is a frequent/popular recommendation, but I was looking at other alternatives.
If anyone has any suggestions for/against certain models, or alternatives, please explain why (it would help me in making a decision)

These are my criteria in no particular order:

canister-type vacuum
reliable/low maintenance (and/or good warranty)
quiet (the quieter the better)


It will be used mostly (say 75%) on hard wood floors, but also have a very large rug.
These were some vacuums I was looking at:

Nilfisk GD930 pro (for reference the GD930 has a dBA of 52)

or maybe one of the Aerus models (but I cannot find listing of dBA on their website)


Any suggestions pros/cons will be appreciated etc

I don’t have experience with either, however the nilfisk commercial machines seem good quality. The gd930 apparently is astoundingly quiet because the bag muffles motor noise.
