Help identifying this Miele SEB 236 part?

Hello, I took apart my SEB 236 (https://www.amazon.com/Miele-Electro-Premium-Full-Size-Electrobrush/dp/B0017PSJD2) and didn't even notice this part had fallen into my lap until I had put it all back together. The head still works but it makes a slight whistling sound. I wasn't able to figure out where it came from and was hoping someone could help identify it. Thanks for any help.

It is rear/bottom bearing felt washer

That's a felt washer for a Ametek lamb motor I believe. It goes on the bearing clip thing for the lower bearing.

Thanks for the info jimjimmunster. I had a vacuum repairman tell me he's confident it's not from the SEB 236 and just got sucked up. Do you know does the SEB 236 use that type of motor?

Miele

uses Maxxon motors in their electro brushes. Ones more than 20 years old may have a Falhauber motor in them.
A couple of years ago, in the spring, after some plants budded out, we had a late deep freeze, and they didn't bloom that year.
It had happened once before, in 1974.
