Well, actually, it was my mom's. I inherited it when she passed over a dozen years ago, along with a model L. She had from the time I was a young'un, and I'm 54 now. I had to replace the roller brush & belt when I got it, but it's been a champ, until the motor on the PN1 burnt up this past weekend. I'm beyond sadness. I'm pretty handy, so I know I can replace the motor myself, but my Google-fu is weak when it comes to finding the right one to buy. Can any of you gurus help? Many thanks in advance!

PN-1 motors are not readily available any longer. I think you'll have to rebuild yours or find a donor or rebuilt motor. Even PN-2 are difficult to source at this point. PN-4 and newer are fairly easy though you need to reuse some parts from the existing to put it all together. Good luck on your search...

Hopefully I'm way off base and one of the more expert members of the forum will have a better answer for you.

There are TONS of PN-1s on Ebay. You could probably buy a 1205 complete set if you wanted for spare parts. Just swap out power nozzle motors, and keep the rest for a rainy day when you need more parts.
