I am getting old. After I joined your group today I found out the newer Electrolux vacuums I have are considered vintage! If anyone can please help by giving me advice I would sure appreciate it. My three newer machines (I say newer because I have some very old ones I will post in another thread about) and their problems are:
Electrolux LE L95009F the hose is stuck; I cannot get the release button to move.
Electrolux LE P24315M when I am using this machine I get electrical shocks when I touch the metal of the hose.
Electrolux M18778C this one I need a new hose for but I am not sure if the generic ones I see are as good as original equipment if I could find one.
Are there any online manuals for these machines anywhere?
Where is the best place to get parts?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer.

electrical shock

Not knowing where the metal is that you get shocked on , it would be hard to say why the shock. Most of the time someone gets shocked touching the metal on the hose or other metal (wands) it is static electricity.

Cleaner hose

All you gave was a serial number. I think it might be a Marquise which has a different hose end than your LEs . I would check with the clsest Aerus dealer before making a decision on hose.

Tig21er,

I didn't know there was a B-10 shampooer till now. Did it go by more than one name? Was/is there also a B-11, B-12...?

repair manual

Thank you to all who took the time to answer this. I should have asked is there any way or place to access repair manuals (hopefully online)? A Manual that may tell me some of the tricks to opening up and taking apart these machines.
Thank you again,
Bet-c
