Don't be afraid to ask questions, you'll find this website to be the upper crust of the cyberspace vacuum pie (Charles Lester's website being close behind, it's a treasure trove of information,I just forget how many Sevens were in the URL!

Could you be more specific than 'a couple of Kirbys'?, pictures, even? (I'm a fan of Kirbys myself, along with Caleb ((Cb123)) above!

Hello and welcome, Dan!

Even if you have just the slightest interest in vacuum cleaners, you've come to the right place! I collect a variety of machines, personally: my collection is mostly European machines such as AEG, Bosch, Electrolux UK, and Hoover UK; I also have several US-made machines from Kirby, Electrolux/Aerus, Hoover, Eureka, Panasonic, and Miele.

No matter what your interest is, you'll always find some lively and fascinating conversation here -- so once again, welcome and enjoy!
