Greetings to all

Certainly new To this forum. Found out about it while researching An old vacuum I discovered in a closet. Interested in learning a bit more about it.
I come from an automotive background, mostly automatic transmissions and driveline stuff, But I have always been fascinated by old mechanical things. I love the fact that you can work on them and usually fix what is broken. The first tool you use is a screwdriver not a computer scan tool.

Welcome aboard Niels! You've come to the right place to learn more about the old Premier vacuum you found. From the pic you posted in the Vintage forum, I'm thinking it's most likely a pre-war machine. Doug Smith, who is Collector2 here in Vacuumland, has a vast knowledge of Canadian made vacuums and can probably help you pinpoint when it was made, or at least give you a good "ballpark" estimate.
