hey all.....

i have a nice pair of machines to post.....one is a Hoover Elite 6.0, it dates from 1989...and has a 6.0 amp motor,

and the next is the matching Hoover Spirit canister with Powermatic......

these are both in mint condition and work very well......ive never been a fan of Elites...but im kinda getting into the first generation of them from the late 80's.....

Hoover Spirit

While not the most "aesthetically pleasing" canister Hoover ever turned out, they are real workhorses and (like everything else) are getting older. Yours is in beautiful shape, and I LOVE the matching Elite. Was that a Kmart exclusive model?

Nice pair =). I really like the Elite. Its so true though, the Spirit is a real workhorse. A neibor had one and used it w/o a bag. Of all vacuums to use with no bag. He gace it to me case it smelled like it was heating up. Well duh lol. I gve it a good cleaning, gave it away and it lasted 5 more years for a total 8.

Yes that was a kmart model. I got this model from kmart in 89-90
