there is an art to properly restoring hoover convertibles as a hoover dealer for 50 years this october i have fully restored well over 300 from all various states of use ....the 65 i have now do keep me very busy but it is a joy to take care of them as for the hoover convertible it amazes me how you can turn back years of use and abuse to return it to its rightful sound power and performance ...i just refurbed a hoover 68 to use here in my basement made in 1961 its 64 years old and it is just a joy to run not to many things in this world made in 1961 and are still running at peak performance
