BBC News this morning . The EU has made a law that vacuums only 900 watts or less can be sold. Hang on to your collectables. Could you imagine that here.

Reason they say anything over 900 watts uses too much energy.
One Brit commented I will have to live in pet hair, another one said they had blow dryers with more watts. Vacuum industry is trying to comply.....
