Is this Kirby belt really a Handi-Butler belt? (Picture by Jaker15)

Whether it is or not, the Kirby logo molded on it, inside or out (inside as this picture shows), was the only way to ensure you got a genuine Kirby soft belt.

Going off the diameter of the belt,

I would say that it is a genuine handy-butler belt! It appears to be in contrast with the size of my Heritage I's old Handi-Butler belt, thus leading me to this conclusion.

I'm not sure if it would,

It's likely Kirby molded their name into all their styles of belts, it's hard going off the angle of the picture, but it almost looks those older grey belts Kirby used to put over the dusting brush in their attachment sets. It also seems slightly wider than the above Handi-Butler belt, so I'd go that this is either a Miracle Head belt, or just a standard older Kirby belt.

"The outside of the belt"

You got me there, but how do you know you just don't have a reversed 159056 Belt?

RE: Handi Butler Bets

What's a good substitute belt for each the Mark II / III & Heritage versions? I found the used belt of my Heritage butler runs ok in the Heritage but if I moved the belt to the Mark II w/ my 518 or early Sanitronic it is slipping under load. Did these various models use different size belts? I think my Mark IV & Heritage share the same size.

I just wanna' use them so I don't mind if not original for now. Anyone know the size specs to hunt for?
