Ham & Cheese Rollups with Mayo-Mustard-Sriracha Sauce
1 bagged ready-to-bake Pizza Crust (I used Trader Joe’s whole-wheat crust)
3/4 lb. deli ham (thinly sliced but not shaved)
12 slices Swiss cheese (thinly sliced)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with lightly floured parchment paper (dust the entire sheet of paper).
Remove the pizza dough from the plastic pouch and place it (still in “blob” form) onto the floured parchment paper. Allow to rest for about a half hour.
When the dough has come to about room temperature, pat it down a bit and lightly dust with flour.
Using a flour-dusted rolling pin, roll the dough out to an approximately 13x18-inch rectangle.
Top the dough with ham slices, allowing them to overlap such that you can get the entire package onto the dough; similarly for the Swiss cheese slices.
Starting on the longer side of the rectangle, roll up the edge tightly, using the parchment paper as a guide. When you reach the end, pinch the seam together and flip the roll so that the seam is face down.
Cut into 12 slices, approximately 1-inch wide and arrange evenly spaced onto the parchment paper. (If you need to dust a bit more flour, feel free. Just don’t go crazy with it.)
Bake, uncovered for 25 minutes until golden and browned.
Mayo-Mustard-Sriracha Sauce
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Spicy Brown Mustard
1/2 tsp Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce (or to taste)
Blend all ingredients in a small bowl. For most intense flavor, allow to refrigerate for a couple of hours (meaning you’ll have to make it ahead of time).
