This isn't crazily over-priced, exactly...

...but looks rather sorry for itself, no bag, rusty, rear wheels snapped off...$10 is a lot to ask for junk!

Whenever I see one like this, I usually think, 'at least the motor probably still works, that could be salvagable...', but those motors are so reliable, they rarely need to be replaced with donor parts anyway...

Yes, although $500 seems even more for a vacuum that MIGHT be worth $50. At least the 700 would make a great parts vacuum...say, if you needed the belt cover, or a screw...or even the cap if one's was dented. But anyways...you just have to wonder about some people! :-)

$37...

...is a lot to pay for a screw or a belt cover! But you're right about the GE. If THEY had started their auction at $10, they might find a lot more interest!

Touché! :-) Well...there's always local pick-up! :-) Only one state over! But then...the gas!! Oh, well...maybe if there is absolutely no interest in the vacuum someone will ask the seller afterwards to come down on price. He seems to be a collector!

Oh, and he seems quite reputable!
