The metal 'frame' for the bristles is there, it's not like it's gone missing or removed -- it looks like it was just used so hard that it was ground down to bare metal!</span>

Good grief, I've seen well-worn floor tools but never like that.  The bristles are GONE!

I think some people use these floor tools to clean outdoor carpet. Wet oudoor carpet maybe. That 1205 could be made nice.
