WOW those are nice !

That 1205 has such a gleeming metal top. I have read that the embossed (elk grain) metal bodied 1205 had a more powerful motor than the smooth finished ones. Awesome PN2. The aqua nozzle plug is rare. NICE !

The 'Brain' inside the door mount.

Electrolux's first, the brain detects when the bag is full (according to it's setting), the large diaphram trips the door to pop open whilst shutting off the motor. As the motor winds down the suction reduction trips the bag ejector sled and tosses the bag out onto the floor.

This is all automatic and yet each stage can be adjusted and user-defeated to simply change bags at Milady's whim or place the sensing mechanisms in a limbo state temporarily.

Note the standard to which the original brain was built and the Airframe Green paint on the insides. Excepting the elimination of the bag ejector mechanism on subsequent Electroluxs and moving the diaphragm workings entirely to the bag door interior, this is the same Brain sensing gizmo used by both Electrolux Canada and USA in their vacuums to the present day. Of course many cast metal parts have been reproduced in hard clear styrene plastic.
