I paid more than I usually do, but this one is a like-new-little-old-lady-vac with all the extras, many still in their original wrappers.

Also snapped up an 8 amp Royal metal upright and a clean Hoover WindTunnel, both of which I will resell and probably break even on the 3...gas included.

Finally I am selling my extra vacs (other items too), and doing a fair bit of it on Craigslist lately, it's been a pleasure. Space!

I recently acquired the Legacy version of that vac and really like it. I have the matching Legacy canister that matches. The colors are great. I replaced a few parts on the upright and think it is a very good cleaner.

The tools are also handy--it is amazing how far Lux has come along with their uprights considering the early models.

Great purchase.

I believe the only differences between the Lux Legacy U155B & U155C and the Lux Guardian U147E uprights is the former had 9A motors and the latter had a 10A motor and a HEPA filter. Interestingly, the later Lux Guardian uprights have had 8.5A motors. All have had 35-foot power cords.

Fyi, other Aerus domestic cleaners of that era with the same decals are the Lux Classic U155D (9A, no Sidekick), Lux Classic C151D, Lux Legacy C153C, Little Lux L150A, Lux Floor Pro S105N (w/cord winder) Lux Floor Pro S165A (w/o cord winder), Lux Lite U162A, & Centralux E130G.
