This one is a model 858, made around 1972. No wheels, it's a model that floats on its own exhaust. It came from the Everett, WA Goodwill Outlet store and cost $1.99. It came with a hose but the wand, vacuum head, crevice tool and other small accessories were long gone. It works well, but will need cleaning because as usual, it had sunken to the low level of being used to clean up construction debris. I find this to be fairly common with donation-store cannister vacuum finds and that's probably why the tools are missing -- it was being used as a shop-vac. I'll have to keep my eyes open for some J bags now, as I don't have any.

AMAZING vacuum. I never find anything like that when I'm at the Goodwill or thrift stores. Very lucky of you to find one though!

Nice 858!

Hope you can find some attachments. J bags shouldn't be too hard to find. I have an 858 too and enjoy using it. Also like your D-80. It will be a beauty once it's shined up.

Very Nice

I had that model when I was young. I loved it. The tools, including the floor tool was the same chocolate color as the bottom of the vacuum. It sur was quiet and strong!
I don't have much luck at goodwills and such, and when I do its never $1.99 lol.
Good Luck with this gem!
