So, I walked in and right in the entrance with a bow and tinsel was this kirby Avalir 100th anniversary. It came with a box with all the shampoo attachments and the vac attachments. It was marked 100 and with my goodwill card it was 75.00. Funny thing is the guy told me it was 90% off any Christmas donated Goods and it was sitting with the Christmas stuff with bows and ribbons on it, and the guy told me everything up front was donated for Christmas and it was 90% off so the vacuum should have been $10. I know right...what a deal, so I asked him if he could keep it behind the counter until I was done shopping. Well I could hear the manager lady complaining that that was a really good deal and that would be giving it away. so when I got to the counter she said that it was $100. I argued with her a bit but she tried to tell me it wasn't part of the deal even though I had ribbons and bows all over it and the other guy told me it was. Either way $75 is still a really good deal considering I see them going on eBay with all the attachments for carpet cleaning for a thousand bucks new. I've never had a Kirby Nor would I normally buy one but I couldn't pass it up. I'll have to go through all the attachments and what not. What do you guys think? Quite the deal eh?

I may have spent my luck for the next few months on that find lol. I prob coulda found more stuff but I bought a few vinyl records and home i went . I polished it up and wiped the little dust off stuff.looking at it's maybe been used 3 times or less for vacuuming and the shampoo attachments are brand new and the bottles are unopened. All it needs is a paper bag. I guess with this setup its like 1500.00 . And it was purchased at the authorized dealer in my town and its the 2016 model I think. Giddy up!

Nice find, even at $75. Yeah, if I'd been in that situation, part of me would have been kicking my self for not checking out immediately and heading for the exit as as soon as the first guy said 90% off, but Goodwill does do a lot of good stuff in the community so I personally don't mind giving them a few bucks.

CONGRATULATION MATT!

I am glad a member got such a good break. I hope you have lots of these to come.

I found a Miele Salsa when I first walked into a Goodwill. Without hesitation, I grabbed it, paid and put it in the truck. Excellent shape for.......$7.99.

After it was stashed, I went back into the store to browse.

It was complete and only needed bags, filters and to clear a hard to reach clog.

Sold it for $90.

That's an awesome deal on the miele. Yea I had them stash it behind the counter and kept shopping, I just couldn't concentrate cuz I wanted to go home and try it out lol.normally that my monday morning trip for the dollar day on a certain color barb.and the guy that said 90% was the door greeter so he wasn't checking Me out at the register anyway. He's a nice and funny guy though. and I agree they do alot of good work.last week I got one of those bissell turbo sweepers for 2.00 . Nothing special but actually works real good on quick kitchen floor cleanings . Cat hair and sand. It was like new. They don't usually have to many vacs but when they do they are usually awesome.

Great Find!

I really like the new Avalir...I'd love to find one at a deal like that. Glad someone who can appreciate it nabbed it anyways!
