Yes...

I have. There not the best at deep cleaning but not bad girl the price. I had a lift off for just over 3 years spending its last year in a commercial environment. Dad "borrowed "it for a local elk's lodge and the cord shorted at the base. Other than that as long as the filters were clean it wasn't a bad vacuum at all. My friends mom does house cleaning she has 5 big houses and one average 3 bed ranch. She uses a Cleanview its her 2nd one in 6years and the 1st still works just the handle release broke plus she has one at home. I also got a friend a bagged Walmart special for Xmas 7years ago and hers is still goin. :)

We have a 2003 Powerforce bagged at our church, it is very beat up and worn out, but still runs. and picks up dirt. 9 years in a commercial environment and still going.

I have a bissel pro heat to and a powerwash , I think they work very well, I even decided to sell the machines when they made there big comeback to SA. To be honest I don't see any difference between them and the Hoover and Eureka vacuums.

I used a BOL Bissell Powerforce bagless a while back, and while I was not expecting it to be a very good machine considering how cheap they are, I was surprised. It did a nice job, had a pleasant sound (IMO), and groomed the carpet nicely. It was also very lightweight, so easy to move around. The only thing I didn't like was the cord was pretty short. I'm sure like most bagless, they are a pain to keep the filters clean, but for the price it was much better than I expected, and the bagged model would eliminate that issue.

I also used to have a Bissell 3-in-1 stick vac in the late '90s. It had a removable handle so could be used as a hand vac and came with the floor nozzle and a crevice tool. I liked it for quick cleaning of hard floors, but again, the cord was too short for me, so I didn't use it much.

So my few experiences have been good.

I have a Pro Heat Pet and I love it. I have used it to clean carpets for three friends and it has been great. I like being able to 'turn off' the shampoo flow and just rince with clean water. A very nice feature, Hoover should think about that.

Brush roll vibration

I liked the cleanview I had but I just changed the belt and now the brush roll vibrates. I took it out and reset it but it still vibrates. The motor has a nice sound to it but when I put the brush roll back in from changing the belt it vibrates and is loud. I don't know what I did or why it's vibrating. I hope it's not the housing, it is a good machine. Anyone have any ideas?

I've had mostly good experiences with Bissell. They're my favorite brand, so. haha But I have a Powergroom model that works pretty great. The headlight doesn't work, but cleaning wise, it's amazing. It cleans the carpet very well. I also have one of their 3 in 1 stick vacs. That works so amazing, it's crazy. Especially considering it was only $15. And their customer service is amazing to deal with.

I have. . .

I have a Big Green Clean Machine that is 20 years old now. I had to replace the pump a few (five) years back, and the hose just this last summer. Does everything I have ever asked of it, now remember it is a straight suction can type, no PZ.

I have only ever used it in deep clean mode. There is a cloth bag thing you put over the ball cage and then it can be used for dry pick up. I have a dedicated shop vac so I never tried it in that mode.

I also have a Spot Bot. You get these little crop circles all over you carpet, but it also has a hose where you can clean chairs, stairs and cars. It does a good job with spills, and oopsies. I've had it about five years now.

I use a Bissell Cleanview II as my abuse vacuum (cleaning other vacuums, sucking up cat litter)and so far it has worked well. The main reason I don't use this as a normal vacuum is that the belt is stretched, and I am too lazy to go get a new one.

Well if the belt is stretched, then finding a new one is easy. Bissells are cheap and easy to fix you know. Fantomfan and FantomLightning should come look at this.
